SUMMARY
The 2004 budget includes funding to hire an additional police officer. Funding is provided to
make the hire effective September 1 st. Council
is asked to authorize staff to advertise for this
position and begin the selection process so an appointment may be made with a starting date
shortly after September 1, 2004.
