For City Council consideration is a recommendation to hire Ms. Becky Schuster for the position of Tiny Tot
Instructor. Approximately 15 applications for the position were received, with 9 of the applicants being
interviewed by a panel made up of myself, the Parks and Recreation Director Dan Schultz, and Recreation
Supervisor Lisa Maurer.
Becky was previously a Head Start Teacher for several years. Currently she is working with a special needs
child in the Farmington School District. Pending Council approval, Becky is scheduled to begin as Tiny Tot
Instructor on Monday, January 20 t '.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: MOTION TO APPROVE THE HIRING OF BECKY SCHUSTER TO THE
POSITION OF TINY TOT INSTRUCTOR.
