Statutory cities are required annually to appoint a Council Member to the position of Acting Mayor to act in the
Mayor's absence. This is based on a recommendation from the Mayor.
Mayor Droste is recommending the appointment of Council Member Mary Riley to Acting Mayor when
deemed necessary.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Motion to appoint Council Member Mary Riley to the position of Acting Mayor for the City of
Rosemount.
