Location: Rosemount Market Square, in front of (formerly) Knowlan's
Property Owner(s): Carlson Properties, Inc.
Current Zoning: C -4, General Commercial
SUMMARY
Pete Linder has requested that Linder's Flower Mart be allowed to return to Rosemount Market Square for the
2003 season. They anticipate being open from April 15 through July 15, 2003 (approximately). The greenhouse
and display area would be in the same location as previously approved (please see attached site plan).
Consistent with previous direction, this request is being presented for annual review and (recommended)
approval. Given the temporary nature of the flower mart, and the consistency with last years' operation a public
hearing was not required. Changes to the location, size or timing of the temporary use would trigger the public
hearing process as interpreted by staff.
The Police Department indicated that there were no complaints or other concerns that resulted from last year's
operation.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Motion to approve the request for Linder's Flower Mart to operate at Rosemount Market Square for the
period starting April 15 to July 15, 2003 (approx.).
