On January 21, 2003, the feasibility report for Bloomfield 5 —8 1h Addition Street and Utility Improvements
was presented and received by Council. As noted as part of the presentation, the feasibility report was prepared
for multiple phases of the Bloomfield development to better address regional issues associated with the
completion of street and utility improvements for the development and would be referred to with the completion
of street and utility improvements for future phases.
At this time, the developer for Bloomfield, Centex Homes, has requested that the City proceed with the
preparation of plans and specifications for the Bloomfield 6 Addition. Therefore, Staff is requesting Council
authorization to prepare the plans and specification for the Bloomfield 6 Addition Street and Utility
Improvements.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: MOTION TO ADOPT A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE
PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR BLOOMFIELD 6 ADDITION STREET
AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS, CITY PROJECT #372.

A RESOLUTION ORDERING THE
PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR
BLOOMFIELD 6th ADDITION STREET AND UTILITY IMPROVMENTS
CITY PROJECT #372
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Rosemount received the Feasibility report for the
Bloomfield 5th - 8 th Addition Street and Utility Improvements and Appurtenant Work, City Project #364,
and
WHEREAS, the Bloomfield 6th Addition Street and Utility Improvements and Appurtenant Work
phase of the development has been designated as City Project #372, and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Rosemount hereby
orders the preparation of plans and specifications for Bloomfield 6th Addition Street and Utility
Improvements, City Project #372, contingent upon the deposit of funds by the developer for costs
associated with the preparation of said plans and specifications.
ADOPTED this 3rd day of June, 2003.
