For City Council consideration is a recommendation to hire Colby Cartney for the position of Building
Maintenance Worker in the Parks and Recreation Department. The City posted this position internally,
receiving four applications in all. Colby has worked for the department in a part-time capacity since October
2001. Pending Council approval, Colby will start in the position March 7, 2003.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: MOTION TO APPROVE THE HIRING OF COLBY CARTNEY FOR
THE POSITION OF BUILDING MAINTENANCE WORKER.
