Waste Management Service Material
Waste Management has made a request to the City of Rosemount to amena the uny- s Bona
Waste Hauling Ordinance pertaining to the collection of recyclable material. The Ordinance
amendment is for the purpose of providing Waste Management with the means to implement a
new service referred to as Single -Sort Residential Recycling. The new service gives the users the
capability to store recyclables in a 90 gallon bin which is capable of holding two weeks worth of
recyclable material. It also gives the users the convienence of not having to separate recyclables
prior to the time of collection.
Waste Management is the only service provider with the resources to implement this program.
Other licensed haulers will continue to utilize the curb -side recycling program. Curb side bins
will continue to be available to Rosemount residents who choose to stay with the curb -side
program.
Attached is the Ordinance amendment and additional information on the new service available.
