The Rosemount American Legion has requested a Temporary On -Sale Liquor License outside in their
pavilion to host two events: Friday, July 25, 4 -10 pm, Steak Under the Stars; and Saturday, July 26, 11
am — close, BBQ and Corn on the Cob. These will be in their parking lot at 14590 Burma Avenue. They
will use their pavilion and patio, which will be enclosed with a temporary fence to serve liquor and food.
There is a 3 -day limit per temporary license.
I have spoken to the applicant about fencing and they are willing to work with the Rosemount Police
Dept. to help control crowds in the best way possible.
Staff recommends approval for this application.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: MOTION to approve Temporary Liquor License for the American
Legion for July 25 and 26, 2003.
