Technology. A letter to Dakota Electric is attached for your information. Before an expenditure is made from
the Fund, approval will be sought from Council.

Dear Ms. Boyd,
I am writing regarding the Dakota Electric 2004 marketing and communications
grant for the City of Rosemount. As I mentioned on the phone, we are going to
be developing a marketing plan for the community, which will include an
economic development strategic plan. It is expected that the City will begin a
direct marketing campaign to particular business sectors, update and refine the
City's web page, and initiate some advertising in business journals. it is
anticipated that the marketing /communications grant would be used toward the
market study and associated projects consistent with the adopted study.
