Shenanigan's Pub, 14605 South Robert Trail has submitted a Premises Permit Application for their lawful
gambling operations. The license is currently held by the Rosemount Jaycees, however owner Mike Herrmann
wishes to change organizations at the time of renewal, March 31, 2004. The organization that Mr. Herrmann has
selected is Baseball Association 191, managed by Thomas Meyer and Richard Vanderlaan. Mr. Vanderlaan has
received copies of our Ordinance requirements and has made arrangements with the Rosemount High School
coaching staff for charitable donations.
The applicant is planning to attend the meeting if there are questions or concerns. The application fee of $100
has been paid and we have copies of the State LG214 Premises Permit Application.
Staff has confirmed that all city requirements have been met. The attached resolution would approve a gambling
premises permit to operate charitable gambling at Shenanigan's Pub at 14605 South Robert Trail. Upon
approval by the City Council, the application will be forwarded to the State Gambling Control Board for their
review and consideration.

RESOLUTION 2003 -
A RESOLUTION APPROVING A GAMBLING PREMISES
PERMIT APPLICATION FOR
SHENANIGAN'S PUB
WHEREAS, the owner of Shenanigan's Pub, Michael Herrmann, has made application for a
charitable gambling Premises Permit; and
WHEREAS, the applicant has submitted a copy of a Lease for Lawful Gambling Activity for the
organization named: Baseball Association #191, organization license number B- 05455;
WHEREAS, the applicant and organization has been given a copy of the City Code for
Charitable Gambling and understands the requirements of the City.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Rosemount,
Dakota County, Minnesota, hereby approves the Gambling Premises Permit Application
submitted by Michael Herrmann to conduct charitable gambling in Rosemount at Shenanigan's
Pub, 14605 South Robert Trail for the period of April 1, 2004 to March 31, 2006.
