The VFW has submitted a Premises Permit Renewal Application for their lawful gambling operations at the
VFW club at 2625 120 Street West. The license is for the period of March 1, 2004 to February 28, 2006. They
have paid the fee of $100 for investigation and submitted the required documents. Their Schedule C/D Reports
show that the VFW has donated 92% of its donations to Rosemount and the contiguous area. $1,300 went
directly to the City of Rosemount.
It is staff's recommendation that the attached resolution be adopted approving a gambling premises permit to
operate charitable gambling at the VFW, Post 9433. Upon approval by the City Council, the application will be
forwarded to the State Gambling Control Board for their review and consideration.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: MOTION to adopt A RESOLUTION APPROVING A GAMBLING
PREMISES PERMIT RENEWAL APPLICATION FOR VFW POST 9433 ROSEMOUNT for the period of
March 1, 2004 to February 28, 2006.

A RESOLUTION APPROVING A GAMBLING PREMISES
PERMIT RENEWAL APPLICATION FOR
VFW POST 9433 ROSEMOUNT
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Rosemount,
Dakota County, Minnesota, hereby approves the Gambling Premises Permit Renewal Application
submitted by the VFW POST 9433 ROSEMOUNT to conduct charitable gambling in
Rosemount at the Rosemount VFW POST 9433, 2625 120 Street West for the period of March
1, 2004 to February 28, 2006.
ADOPTED this 3rd day of November, 2003.
