Brotzler, P.E., City Engineer AGEPf" "6 J ATTACHMENTS: Resolution APPROVED BY: In 2000, the City of Rosemount undertook the preparation of an update to the City's' 1998 Comprehensive Stormwater Management Plan. As previously discussed, the preparation of this update was initiated to address the need for a future stormwater outlet from the City of Rosemount, originally proposed to be constructed to the Vermillion River and now proposed as part of the Comprehensive Stormwater Management Plan (CSMP) Update to be constructed to the Mississippi River. The CSMP Update also includes additional information on the Land and Water Resources Inventory, newly developed goals and policies for water quality and rate control and an updated assessment of problem areas and recommended actions. A copy of the Comprehensive Stormwater Management Plan Update, dated November 2003 is on file in the Engineering Department. Attached for Council consideration is a resolution adopting the Comprehensive Stormwater Management Plan Update. 6 CITY OF ROSEMOUNT DAKOTA COUNTY, MINNESOTA RESOLUTION 2003 — A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE COMPREHENSIVE STORMWATER MANAGEMENT PLAN UPDATE WHEREAS, the City of Rosemount has prepared a local Comprehensive Stormwater Management Plan in accordance with Minnesota Statute Section 1038.235; and WHEREAS, said plan has been reviewed in accordance with requirements of the law; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Rosemount finds adoption of the Comprehensive Stormwater Management Plan in the best interest of the public. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Rosemount hereby adopts the Comprehensive Stormwater Management Plan Update prepared by WSB. & Associates, Inc. dated November 2003, on file with the City Engineer...
