SUBJECT: Supplemental Agenda Memo
for City Council Agenda 7/15/03
1. Item 5.a. Acknowledge Terry's Ace Hardware: Chuck and Darlene Terry are not
able to attend tonight due to their vacation. They appreciate this opportunity and
wish to reschedule it to the August 17 meeting. Staff suggests pulling this item
and rescheduling it to August 17. No attachment.
2. Item 61 Receive Bids /Award Contract — Bloomfiled Vineyards Street and Utility
Improvements, City Project 368
The bids were received Friday, July 11. Staff recommends the low bidder,
Erickson Construction, Inc. for $477,102.21.
3. Item 6. i. Temporary On -Sale 3.2% Malt Liquor License Include in motion.
Motion to include the hours that liquor is served clearly defined as until
11:00 p.m. as is indicated in the Leprechaun Days Agreement. No attachment.
4. Item 6.m. Add -on Temporary On -Sale Liquor License
The Rosemount VFW 9433 has submitted an application for outdoor
liquor at their annual Sneaky Pete Tractor Pull, Sunday, July 27. See attached.
5. Item 6.n. Add -on Approve Modification and amendment of Easement Grant with
Northern Natural Gas for Bacardi Water Tower Property, City Project 355.
Please review the agreement. It modifies the existing pipeline easement
for future rights for improvements across the pipeline for completion of the
Bacardi Water Tower and future fire station. See attached.
6. Item 7.b. Exemption to Accessory Structure Standards for Traditional
Farmsteads.
Ordinance revised. See attached. The barns within the business district
were pulled and the definition of the pole barns was removed per the advice of the
City Attorney.
