The Council is asked to accept the resignation of police officer Mark Robideau effective July 31, 2003. After
twenty -five years of service to the citizens of Rosemount, Officer Robideau is retiring from law enforcement to
pursue another career. His dedication and commitment to the community has been appreciated and will be
missed.
Authorization is requested to recruit a candidate to fill the vacancy created by Officer Robideau's resignation.
Applicants from the recently completed hiring process for police officer will be considered for this position. It
is expected that a candidate will be selected and begin by approximately October 1, 2003.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: Motion to accept the resignation of Mark Robideau effective July 31, 2003
and authorize a recruitment process to fill the vacancy created.
