City Council is in the process of hiring a new city administrator and appointing a new council member, which is
requiring attendance of the City Council at several meetings in February. In order to comply with the Open
Meeting Law, staff will post and publish the attached public notices. There is a three day posting requirement
prior to special meetings. Publication is optional.
Council had already set the February 22, 2003 Town Hall Open Forum at its last meeting. This will be included
in this published public notice to further advertise the event.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: MOTION to set Special Meetings of the Rosemount City Council
February 6, 8, and 10 for the purpose of hiring and appointing personnel.

NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETINGS
For CITY COUNCIL
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
Notice is hereby given that the selection process for a city administrator will include a Meet and
Greet open house for the two finalists on Thursday, February 6, 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at City Hall,
2875 145' Street West, Rosemount, Minnesota. The purpose of this meeting is to have city staff
and members of the public meet the candidates.
Notice is hereby given that the City Council will hold a special meeting to interview City Council
Member applicants at City Hall on Saturday, February 8, 2003 beginning at 9:00 a.m.
Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Rosemount in Dakota County, Minnesota
will hold interviews for selection of the City Administrator position at the City Hall, on Monday,
February 10, beginning at 3:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers. The purpose of this meeting is to
recommend an applicant for the City Administrator position to the City Council
Notice is hereby given that the City Council will hold a Town Hall Open Forum on Saturday,
February 22, 9 a.m. to noon. The purpose of the meeting is to invite residents to talk with the Mayor
and City Council about issues that concern them and have residents get to know their elected
officials.
