EXECUTIVE SUMMARY FOR ACTION
CITY COUNCIL MEETING DATE: FEBRUARY 20, 2003
For City Council consideration is a recommendation to James (Jamie) Verbrugge, is currently the Assistant to
the City Administrator in Eagan. He has been with that city since 1998. Prior to that he worked as the Assistant
to the County Administrator in Stearns County for two years and was also the Media /Airport Issues Assistant
with the City of Richfield for two years. Jamie has a Masters in Public Administration from Hamline
University and Bachelor's degree in History and Political Science from St. Cloud State University.
Pending approval of the appointment by the City Council, Jamie is scheduled to start in his position on March
14, 2003.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: MOTION TO FORMALLY APPOINT JAMES (JAMIE) VERBRUGGE
TO THE POSITION OF CITY ADMINISTRATOR.
