EXECUTIVE SUMMARY FOR ACTION
This item is a request for Council to accept two donations on behalf of the fire department. One donation is for
$2000 00 from the Rosemount Jaycees This donation will go toward the purchase of a rescue dummy and a
fire saw The second donation in the amount of $40 00 was received from a family to whom the fire department
gave assistance at the scene of a motor vehicle accident At that time, the children were given stuffed animals to
help calm them The donation was given with the intention to replenish the supply of these toys that we carry
on the rescue truck They also wrote a very nice letter complimenting the fire department on their rescue efforts
Prior to expenditure of these funds from the respective accounts, Council approval is sought
RECOMMENDED ACTION: MOTION to accept the above listed donations on behalf of the
Rosemount Fire Department
