Number of Units Current Zoning Requested /Required Zoning Comprehensive Plan Plamung Comm Action CITY COUNCIL ACTION: CITY OF ROSEMOUNT EXECUTIVE SUMMARY FOR ACTION Wensmann Homes Heritage development 15400 Chippendale Ave 5 48 Agriculture Business Park (BP -4) Allows multiple Family housing with PUD Business Park Recommendation of Approval (4 -0) SUMMARY Wensmann Homes has requested this rezoning as a follow -up to requirements of the Planned Unit Development for the item Wachter Lake Condominium project A final plat is also included under new business The surrounding zoning is North Business Park 4 Carrousel Plaza Townhomes West R -1, Low Density Residential (Single Family) O'Leary's Hills subdivision South Business Park 4 Claret Springs East Townhomes East Wachter's Lake The Rosemount Comprehensive Plan designates the property as Business Park with multiple family housing permitted via PUD under BP -4 Therefore, rezoning is consistent with the Comprehensive Plan PLANNING COMMISSION PUBLIC HEARING No one attended the public hearing other than the Developer's representative, who had no comments or objections The Planning Commissioners accepted the "housekeeping" nature of the action and adopted a motion recommending approval of the rezoning. RECOMMENDED ACTION: Motion to adopt an ordinance rezoning the Wensmann Homes Wachter Lake Condominium property to BP -4, Business Park t City of Rosemount Ordinance No. B- AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE B CITY OF ROSEMOUNT ZONING ORDINANCE Wachter Lake Senior Condominiums THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEMOUNT, MINNESOTA, ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS Section 1 Ordinance B, adopted September 19, 1989, entitled "City of Rosemount Zoning Ordinance," is hereby amended to rezone from Agriculture (AG) to Busyness Park (BP -4), the following descnbed property located with in the City of Rosemount, Minnesota, to -wit Property located in Dakota County, Minnesota, legally descnbed as follows The south 440,000 feet of the west 495.000 feet of the Northwest Quarter of Section 32, Township 115, Range 19, Dakota County, Minnesota Section 2 The Zoning Map of the City of Rosemount, referred to and described in said Ordinance No B as that certain map entitled "Zoning Map of the City of Rosemount," shall not be republished to show the aforesaid rezoning, but the Clerk shall appropriately mark the said zoning map on file in the Clerk's office for the purpose of indicating the rezoning heremabove provided for in this Ordinance and all of the notation references and other information shown thereon are hereby incorporated by reference and made a part of this Ordinance Section 3 This ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its passage and publication according to law ATTEST ENACTED AND ORDAINED into an Ordinance this 21 day of May, 2002 Linda Jentink, City Clerk Published in the Rosemount Town Pages this day of 2002.
