At the public hearing for the Connemara Trail Phase II project, it was noted that the proposed improvements
include constructing a cul -de -sac on Brazil Avenue at Rosemount Woods Council directed Staff to review
options and costs for maintaining a connection of Brazil Avenue to Connemara Trail The feasibility of
connecting Brazil Avenue to Trunk Highway 3 was also discussed
As a result of a recent meeting with representatives of Our Savior Lutheran Church about their interest in
purchasing the "Sunrise Lumber Site" on Trunk Highway 3, Staff is bringing to Council alternatives for the
connection of Brazil Avenue and Trunk Highway 3 An estimated cost to connect Brazil Avenue to Connemara
Trail will also be presented for discussion Because the construction of a connection street between Brazil
Avenue and Trunk Highway 3 would effect the development of the "Sunrise Lumber Site Staff is seeking
Council direction on this item
