Included is Change Order No 1 for the Wensmann Pond Bank Stabilization Project The additional costs
encompasses the work and material needed to install a water level control device and stabilize all the erosion
sensitive areas of Wensmann Pond
Wensmann Pond is a regional stormwater pond where the water levels can fluctuate drastically Staff needs the
ability to control the water elevations during large storm events Plans were developed and awarded to Lloyd's
Construction Services to construct the telemetry system as part of the Pond Bank Stabilization project The
structure has been installed and the electrical float is ready to be wired into the system In addition, trees were
added around the newly installed structures to provide an enhanced look to the area.
Staff is asking that the Council approve the attached Change Order 41 for the Wensmann Pond Bank
Stabilization, City Project 4334
RECOMMENDED ACTION: MOTION TO APPROVE CHANGE ORDER 41 FOR THE
WENSMANN POND BANK STABILIZATION, CITY PROJECT 4334 AND AUTHORIZE THE
NECESSARY SIGNATURES
