CITY COUNCIL MEETING DATE: FEBRUARY 19. 2002
At the work session February 13, 2002, City Council was informed that Mike Baxter's term as Port
Authority Member expired January 31. 2002. There was some confusion as to the length of his tern and
after staff researched this item it was discovered that Mr. Baxter was appointed to a five year teen filling
out a previous port authority member's term. Mr. Baxter is interested in being reappointed to a new term of
three years.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
MOTION to appoint Micheal Baxter as a Port Authority member for a three year term.
