The license is for the period of September 1, 2001 to September 1, 2003. They have paid the fee of $100 for investigation and submitted the required documents. The American Legion gave 89% of its donations to Rosemount and the contiguous area. $3,119 went directly to the City of Rosemount. It is staff s recommendation that the attached resolution be adopted approving a gambling premises permit to operate charitable gambling at the Rosemount American Legion, Post 65. Upon approval by the City Council, the application will be forwarded to the State Gambling Control Board for their review and consideration. RECOMMENDED ACTION: MOTION to adopt A RESOLUTION APPROVING A GAMBLING PREMISES PERMIT RENEWAL APPLICATION FOR AMERICAN LEGION, POST 65. COUNCIL ACTION: w. CITY OF ROSEMOUNT DAKOTA COUNTY, MINNESOTA RESOLUTION 2001- A RESOLUTION APPROVING A GAMBLING PREMISES PERMIT RENEWAL APPLICATION FOR AMERICAN LEGION, POST 65 NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Rosemount, Dakota County, Minnesota, hereby approves the Gambling Premises Permit Renewal Application submitted by the American Legion, Post 65 to conduct charitable gambling at Rosemount American Legion, 14590 Burma Avenue, Rosemount, Minnesota for the period of September 1, 2001 to September 1, 2003. ADOPTED this 18th day of June, 2001 by the City Council of the City of Rosemount.
