LOCATION: This phase consists of the double cul -de -sac,
Crolly Ct & Path, located in the NE quadrant of Shannon Pkwy
and Evermoor Pkwy
This item is a request for Council to approve the plans and specifications and order the
advertisement for bids for Evermoor 8th Addition Street & Utility Improvements, City Project
#337. We have a set of plans and specifications on file in my office for your examination.
Previously the Council ordered the preparation of plans and specification on July 17, 2001.
Because this project is privately financed, the developer has waived his rights to the Chapter
429 assessment process and specifically to the bidding requirements with the attached letter.
Therefore, the bids will be received with only a two -week advertisement instead of the
customary three weeks. This was also done on the previous Evermoor projects bid this year.
The bid opening date has been set for August 29, 2001 at 10:00 a.m. at the Community
Center.

RESOLUTION 2001 -
A RESOLUTION RECEIVING THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
AND AUTHORIZING ADVERTISEMENT OF BIDS FOR
EVERMOOR 8T ADDITION STREET AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS
CITY PROJECT #337
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Rosemount have ordered the preparation of plans and
specifications for Evermoor 8` Addition Street and Utility Improvements, City Project #337 and such plans
and specifications have been presented to this Council for approval:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Rosemount, Minnesota:
1. Such plans and specifications are hereby approved and ordered placed on file in the office of the City
Clerk.
2. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official City newspaper and the
Construction Bulletin an advertisement for bids upon the making of such improvements under such
approved plans and specifications for City Project #337.
3. The advertisement shall be published in each of said publications at least once not less than three (3)
weeks before the date set for opening bids, shall specify the work to be done, shall state the bids will
be publicly opened on August 29, 2001 at 10:00 o'clock a.m. at the Rosemount Community Center
in said City and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the City Clerk and
accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certified check payable to the City Clerk
for five (5 %) percent of the amount of such bid.
