Background
Greg Stotko of Amcon, the construction manager for the city hall project, and project architect Bob
Vanney recommend that the City Council approve a list of change orders for the project. The change
orders are for a variety, of additions to the scope of work, and would result in an added cost of _
$51,776 (plus $3,671 for Alpha Video). The change orders, not including Alpha Video, are listed on
the attached contract summary under the heading Change Orders Pending Approval. Please note that
the additional cost is accounted for on the attached budget work sheet, which still shows a surplus of
$35,811 (less $3,671 for Alpha Video) and an unspent contingency amount of 5162,000. Staff is
working with Amcon to draft a final budget work sheet, which staff will report to the City Council
when it is available.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve change orders for City Hall project.

I am a United States Citizen and the duly qualified Deputy Clerk of the City of Rosemount,
Minnesota.
On November 21, 2001, acting on behalf of the said City, I posted at the City Hall, 2875
145th Street West, and on November 21, 2001 deposited in the United States Post Office
of Rosemount, Minnesota, copies of the attached notice of public hearing regarding the
proposed vacation of drainage and utility easement in Bloomfield, Outlot C, enclosed in
sealed envelopes, with postage thereon fully prepaid, addressed to the persons listed on
the attached listings at the addresses listed with their names.
There is delivery service by United States Mail between the place of mailing and the places
so addressed.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the City Council of the City of Rosemount will conduct a
public hearing on Tuesday, December 4, 2001 in the Banquet Room of the Community Center,
13885 South Robert Trail, beginning at 7:30 p.m. or as soon thereafter as possible. The purpose
of this hearing is to consider a public easement vacation affecting the following legally described
property:
Vacate all drainage and utility easements except for the following drainage and utility
easements contained in Outlot C, BLOOMFIELD, according to the recorded plat thereof,
Dakota County, Minnesota, described as follows:
Commencing at the northwest corner of said Outlot C, said corner common with the northeast
corner of Outlot D, of said BLOOMFIELD; thence North 66 degrees 50 minutes 07 seconds
East, assumed bearing along the north line of said Outlot C, a distance of 430.00 feet to the
point of beginning of the tract of land to be described; thence continuing North 66 degrees 50
minutes 07 seconds East, a distance of 453.82 feet; thence South 23 degrees 09 minutes 53
seconds East, a distance of 552.31 feet; thence South 51 degrees 15 minutes 58 seconds East,
