1. Consent: Item 6.e. Authorize Financing for Lease/Purchase for CIP Equipment
Additional Information
There were three proposals received on Friday, May 11, 2001 for the lease financing of
$885,000 for six large vehicles for city services, listed on the exhibit attachment to the
resolution.
A letter from Springsted summaries the results and recommends Lease Finance Group at
5.15 %. Copies of the bids are attached for your review.
The motion on Item 6.e.. can remain the same as it refers to the resolution.
2. ADD Response to Public Comment: Driveway Access for Ace Hardware
An opinion from City Attorney LeFevere in the attached memo suggests that the Ace
Hardware driveway accesses are approved through Mn/DOT, but there are no restrictions
preventing the city or the highway department from changing them over time.
3. Meeting reminder: Wednesday, May 23, 2001 Briefing on Wastewater Treatment Plant
Time: 7:00 p.m. Place: Lakeville City Hall, 20195 Holyoke Ave.
