For Council consideration is a recommendation to confirm the completion of the six -month probation of Charlie
O'Brien, who was hired as the Code Enforcement Official on July 2, 2001. Per the City's Personnel Policy, his
supervisor City Planner Rick Pearson, has completed a written assessment of her performance and found it to be
satisfactory. He and the Community Development Director recommend to the City Administrator that Charlie
be considered a regular employee on January 2, 2002, his six -month date of employment, pending approval of
the City Council.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: MOTION TO ACCEPT RECOMMENDATION OF THE DEPARTMENT
HEAD FOR THE SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF PROBATION OF CHARLIE O'BRIEN, CODE
ENFORCEMENT OFFICIAL.
