At the last meeting you received a feasibility report for the Carrousel Plaza Improvement
project. This project is being proposed by Heritage Development and is located just south of
Marcus Theater adjacent to Chippendale Avenue. Included in the feasibility report is discussion
related to the extension of sanitary sewer to the Harold Wachter property. We are proposing
to extend sanitary sewer to the Wachter's at this time due to the close proximity of the service
and because this is the most economically feasible option for future service to the property.
We are also proposing to construct a 16 -inch trunk watermain from Chippendale Avenue to
Trunk Highway 3 along with connecting the ends of the existing 12 -inch main along Trunk
Highway 3. The Water Core Fund will pick up the oversizing cost for the 16 -inch main as well
as a share of the Trunk Highway 3 system. A portion of the cost is intended to be assessed to
the bowling alley.
A presentation will be provided at the meeting.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: MOTION TO ADOPT A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PROJECT
AND ORDERING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE CARROUSEL PLAZA STREET AND
UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS, CITY PROJECT #322.

RESOLUTION 2001
A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PROJECT AND ORDERING THE
PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR
CARROUSEL PLAZA STREET AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS
CITY PROJECT #322
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Rosemount ordered a feasibility report for
Carrousel Plaza Street and Utility. Improvements, City Project #322: and
WHEREAS, the City Council has received and accepted the Feasibility Report on
February 6, 2001 for City Project #322; and
WHEREAS, the City Council ordered and held a public hearing on March 6, 2001 to
receive input on this project.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Rosemount
hereby orders the improvements of the Carrousel Plaza Street and Utility
Improvements, City Project #322.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of
Rosemount hereby orders the preparation of plans and specifications for the Carrousel
Plaza Street and Utility Improvements, City Project #322 described in the
aforementioned Report.
