Action: Recommendation of Approval i SUMMARY This parcel is a remnant of the Carrousel Plaza South area south of Carrousel Way. It is being platted in anticipation of construction of an office building (please see attached elevations). The site plan is administrative because of the Business Park zoning and consistency with all BP standards. The final plat is consistent with the approved preliminary plat. No public hearing is required for this final plat. PLANNING COMMISSION REVIEW The Commissioners were interested in the office building and made a suggestion to relocate one row of parking to the east (behind) of the building in order to reduce the impact of parking in the foreground. RECOMMENDED ACTION: Motion to adopt a resolution approving the final plat for Carrousel office Center. CITY COUNCIL ACTION: or CITY OF ROSEMOUNT DAKOTA COUNTY, MINNESOTA RESOLUTION 2001- A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE FINAL PLAT FOR CARROUSEL PLAZA OFFICE CENTER WHEREAS, the Community Development Department of the City of Rosemount received an application for final plat approval submitted by Heritage Development of Minnesota, LLC, as required by ordinance for the purpose of an office building on land legally described as: Outlot A, Carrousel Plaza Townhomes, according to the recorded plat thereof, Dakota County, Minnesota. WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Rosemount reviewed the final plat application for Carrousel Plaza Office Center at their regular meeting on February 27, 2001; and, WHEREAS, the Planning Commission adopted a motion to recommend approval of the final plat to the City Council as required by the Subdivision Ordinance, subject to conditions; and, WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Rosemount reviewed the final plat application as required by the Subdivision Ordinance on March 6, 2001. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the City Council of the City of Rosemount hereby approves the final plat for Carrousel Plaza Office Center subject to: 1) Incorporation of recommendations of the City Attorney, Acting City Engineer relative to easements for access, drainage & utilities; 2) Payment of G.I.S., park dedication and all applicable fees according to the current fee schedule. ADOPTED this 6 " day of March, 2001, by the City Council of the City of Rosemount. ATTEST: Linda J.
