LOCATION: The Section 31 Sanitary Sewer Improvements
are located between Chippendale Avenue and new TH 3 just
north of Secure Mini Storage and south of Rosemount
Commons.
This project combines Phase 1 and 2 of Section 31 Sanitary Sewer for bidding and construction
purposes. Phase 1 was previously delayed so as to conform to the schedule set forth by the
County on the CSAH 46 project. The combined project completes the sanitary sewer
connection between the north connecting road (Murgic's) and the existing sanitary sewer at
Chippendale Avenue. The construction of this project would allow for the properties along the
north connecting road to connect to the sanitary sewer and then can be assessed for the
project.
This project will be coordinated with Dakota County as they continue to construct CSAH 46
and new TH 3 this year. The east portion of this project (east of the RR tracks) is planned to
be assessed to the adjacent property owners. A public hearing for that portion was held on
May 2, 2000, which means that this project needs to be aviarded by May 2, 2001 or a new
public hearing will be necessary. We are proposing to bid this project on March 30, 2001 with
an anticipated award on April 3` or 17` 2001.

SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHORIZE ADVERTISEMENT FOR BID FOR SECTION 31 SANITARY

RESOLUTION 2001 -
A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
AND AUTHORIZING ADVERTISEMENT OF BIDS FOR
SECTION 31 SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENTS
CITY PROJECT #317
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Rosemount have ordered the preparation of plans and
specifications for Section 31 Sanitary Sewer Improvements, City Project #317 and such plans and
specifications have been presented to this Council for approval:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Rosemount, Minnesota:
1. Such plans and specifications are hereby approved and ordered placed on file in the office of the City
Clerk.
2. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official City newspaper and the
Construction Bulletin an advertisement for bids upon the making of such improvements under such
approved plans and specifications for City Project #317.
3. The advertisement shall be published in each of said publications at least once not less than three (3)
weeks before the date set for opening bids, shall specify the work to be done, shall state the bids ill
be publicly opened on March 30, 2001 at 10:00 o'clock a.m. at Rosemount City Hall in said City and
that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the City Clerk and accompanied by a cash
deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certified check payable to the City Clerk for five (5 %) percent
of the amount of such bid.
