For City Council consideration is a recommendation to hire Paul Haglund for the position of Operations
Coordinator. Mr. Haglund has been a part-time Building Attendant for the last three years at the Rosemount
Community Center. He has extensive knowledge of the Community Center operations and also holds a
Bachelors Degree in Physical Education/Sports Management Degree from Bethel Colleae. Staff feels that he
is well qualified for the position and would do an excellent job. Pending Council approval, Mr. Haglund
would start work as a full -time employee on Wednesday, February 7, 2001.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: Motion to hire Mr. Paul Haglund for the position of Operations
Coordinator with the Parks and Recreation Department.
