For City Council consideration is a recommendation to hire Ms. Ruth Bearer for the position of part-time
Receptionist in the Parks & Recreation Department. The City received 22 applications for this position.
Twelve candidates were screened over the phone. Of these twelve, five candidates were interviewed face to
face. Ms Beaver has several years of customer service and secretarial experience and the interview panel felt
that her communication skills were excellent.
Pending Council approval, Ms. Beaver will begin work on Tuesday, February 20".
RECOMMENDED ACTION: MOTION TO APPROVE THE HIRING OF MS. RUTH BEAVER FOR
THE POSITION OF PART -TIME PARKS & RECREATION RECEPTIONIST.
