Commercial Zoning Districts AmendmentsCITY OF ROSEMOUNT EXECUTIVE SUMMARY FOR DISCUSSION SUMMARY This item was pulled from the Council agenda because revisions were being made on the advice of the City Attorney, Charlie LeFevere. Those changes are still being discussed at the time of the preparation of this memo. Staff intends to forward revisions to the Council under separate cover on Monday for review prior to Wednesday evening. In the mean time, Staff received a request for a church to be built in the C -4, General Commercial District, immediately south of Rosemount Family Physicians on Chippendale Avenue. The response to the question was that churches are not a permitted use in the zoning district. However, Staff was willing to find out if there was any Council support for churches as a conditional use in the C -4, General Commercial District while the Commercial District - ordinances are being revised.
