SUMMARY
Pete Linder has requested that Linder's Flower Mart be allowed to return to Rosemount Market Square for the
2001 season. They anticipate being open from April 15 through July 7, 2001. The greenhouse and display area
would be eiin the same location as approved for last year (please see attached site plan). Last year, the Council
made it clear that it would not grant automatic renewals of the seasonal use, that the request should be renewed
annually. Given the temporary nature of the flower mart, and the consistency with last years operation a public
hearing was not required.
The Police Department indicated that there were no complaints or other concerns that resulted from last year's
operation.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Motion to approve the request for Linder's Flower Mart to operate at Rosemount Market Square for the
period starting April 15 to July 7, 2001.
