ATTACHMENTS: Proposed Sidewalk Review Policy APPROVED BY: ' `J At the August Committee of the Whole meeting, we reviewed the City's process regarding where sidewalks are to be located within a new development. The discussion arose out of a request made by the Parks and Recreation Commission to clarify the process and identify who is responsible for reviewing development plans for the placement of sidewalks. The City's process is to have the City Planner receive all development plans and bring them forward to the Development Review Committee (DRC). The DRC consists of staff from a majority of the City's departments that review plans for parks, planning, building, engineering, public works and public safety issues.
