The regular time of the November 6 2001, City Council meeting needs to be changed to accommodate
the school districts school board election. State law prohibits any public meetings between 6:00 p.m. and
8:00 p.m.
Staff suggests that the regular meeting be scheduled to begin at 8:00 p.m. rather than 7:30 p.m.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: MOTION to change the regular City Council meeting start time on
November 6, 2001 to 8:00 p.m.

PUBLIC NOTICE
CHANGE OF CITY COUNCIL MEETING TIME
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the time of the City Council meeting of November 6 "',
2001 will be changed due to the School Board Election.for I.S.D. 196. The regular start time is
7:30 p.m. but for November 6' it will start at 8:00 p.m. The meeting will be held at the
Rosemount Community Center, 13885 South Robert Trail, Rosemount, Dakota County,
Minnesota.
State law requires that no public meetings be held between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. the night of
an election.
