For Council consideration is a recommendation to confirm the completion of the year -long probation of Jim
Parsons, who was hired as the Community Development Director on May 8, 2000. Per the City's Personnel
Policy, the City Administrator has completed a written assessment of Jim's performance and found it to be
satisfactory. The Administrator is recommending that Jim be considered a regular employee once his May 8 ffi
anniversary date has arrived, pending approval of the City Council
RECOMMENDED ACTION: MOTION TO ACCEPT RECOMMENDATION OF THE CITY
ADMINISTRATOR FOR THE SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF PROBATION OF JIM PARSONS,
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR.
