For City Council consideration is a recommendation to hire Ms. Sonja Honl for the position of part-time
Receptionist in the Parks & Recreation Department. To date, the City has received 36 applications for this
position. On Friday, Dan Schultz and I interviewed six of the applicants. Ms. Honl was selected because she is
well qualified for the position, having over ten years of relevant municipal experience.
Pending Council approval, Ms. Honl will begin work on Monday, September 24"'
RECOMMENDED ACTION: MOTION TO APPROVE THE HIRING OF MS. SONJA HONL FOR THE
POSITION OF PART -TIME PARKS & RECREATION RECEPTIONIST.
