The Council approved the hiring of two police officers recently. Officer Randy Trefethren and Officer Krista
Erickson will be present to be introduced and to be sworn in as Rosemount police officers.
Officer Randy Trefethren has an Associate of Arts degree from Inver Hills Community College. Prior to
accepting the position with Rosemount, he worked for several years in the area of mainframe computers.
Randy has been a member of the Police Reserve program for approximately the last ten years. Most recently,
he was the civilian commander of the reserves.
Officer Krista Erickson has a Bachelors degree from Winona State University. She worked previously as an
intern and as a member of the Water Patrol for the Dakota County Sheriffs Office.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: Administer oath.
