This item was intended to be a part of the August 21, 2001 packet, but was inadvertently left
off the agenda.
Council is asked to approve the project, order plans and specifications, receive plans and
specifications and authorize the ad for bids for the Evermoor Wicklow Street and Utility
Improvements.
This is a ten -lot subdivision located directly north of Shannon Hills 6 th Addition along Clover
Lane. Clover Lane will extend from its current termination to future Connemara. The grading
operations are currently underway and are anticipated to be completed by mid- September.
Plans would be put out for bids for opening on September 14, 2001 with a anticipated bid
award of September 18 The Developer has made application to have this work completed at
the City's earliest opportunity.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: MOTION TO ADOPT A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE
PROJECT, ORDERING THE PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS, RECEIVING
THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHORIZING THE ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
FOR EVERMOOR WICKLOW STREET AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS, CITY PROJECT #342.

RESOLUTION 2001 -
A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PROJECT,
ORDERING THE PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS,
RECEIVING THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHORIZING THE
ADVERTISEMENT FORBIDS FOR EVERMOOR WICKLOW STREET AND UTILITY
IMPROVEMENTS, CITY PROJECT #342.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Rosemount hereby
orders the improvements of the Evermoor Wicklow Street and Utility Improvements, City Project #342.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Rosemount orders the preparation
of plans and specifications for said improvements of City Project No. 342.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Rosemount, Minnesota:
1. Such plans and specifications are hereby approved and ordered placed on file in the office of the
City Clerk.

2. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official City newspaper and the
Construction Bulletin an advertisement for bids upon the making of such improvements under
such approved plans and specifications for City Project #342.
3. The advertisement shall be published in each of said publications at least once not less than three
(3) weeks before the date set for opening bids, shall specify the work to be done, shall state the
bids will be publicly opened on September 14, 2001 at 10:00 o'clock a.m. at the Rosemount
Community Center in said City and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with
the City Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certified check
payable to the City Clerk for five (5 %) percent of the amount of such bid.
ADOPTED this 21 day of August, 2001.
