As of February 15 ", the deadline date for commission applications to be received, we have received applications
from five residents. The city newsletter will contain an article encouraging further applicants without any
deadline date. Council can choose whether to continue to receive applications for commission openings up to
the day or so prior to an interview meeting or if you are satisfied with the five applicants, it can be closed at this
time.
The five applicants are as follows:
Stephen M. Casey, 15455 Danville Ave, Planning
Donald Berg, 2119 128 St. W., Utilities
Bill Droste, 13832 Danbury Path, Planning
Mark DeBettignies, 4125 153` St. W., Planning, Port Auth., Parks & Rec., Utilities (in that order)
Deb Halterman, 4214 157`" St.W., Planning
Jeff Caspar, 4037 156" St. W.
The open positions are:
Planning Commission: (2) Droste and one other open position
Utilities Commission: (1) Berg
Parks & Recreation: (2) Eliason, Larson
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
MOTION to set a special meeting for the purpose of commission interviews on
(date and time).
