Staff has received two bids for the new electric ice resurfacer of the Rosemount Arena. The public notice was posted
on January 26, 2001 and the opportunity to bid closed on February 23, 2001. Listed below is information about the
two bids that were received:

$89,995.00 + tax = $ 95,844.67
R &R Specialties \ Zamboni 552
$78,950.00 + tax = $ 84,081.75
Staff is recommending Council approve the bid submitted by R &R Specialties \Zamboni for a new electric ice
resurfacer. Staff also recommends declaring our current ice resurfacer as surplus property and to receive sealed
bids for the sale of the resurfacer.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
1. Motion to approve the bid from R &R Specialties \Zamboni for the electric ice resurfacer.
2. To declare current ice resurfacer as surplus property and advertise to receive sealed bids for the sale of the
resurfacer.
