The Bloomfield Addition plat included the dedication of drainage and utility easements for future
ponding areas located in the northeast portion of the site. These easements were necessary to allow
for the discharge of public storm sewer into future ponding areas. With the completion of grading
activities in this area, the drainage areas are better defined. The existing easement conflicts with the
4 Addition plat. We are requesting the vacation of the existing easement. Centex Homes will
provide a new easement for the ponding area prior to the execution of the vacation.
Staff is recommending setting the public hearing for December 4, 2001 at 7:30 p.m.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: MOTION TO ADOPT A RESOLUTION SETTING APUBLIC
HEARING FOR AN EASEMENT VACATION FOR APORTION OF THE DRAINAGE AND UTILITY
EASEMENT IN OUTLOT C OF BLOOMFIELD ADDITION.

A RESOLUTION SETTING THE PUBLIC HEARING FOR
AN EASEMENT VACATION FOR OUTLOT C
BLOOMFIELD ADDITION
WHEREAS, an easement vacation is required on Outlot C, Bloomfield Addition.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF ROSEMOUNT,
MINNESOTA:
1. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed easement vacation on the 4 th day of
December, 2001, in the Banquet Room of the Rosemount Community Center at 7:30
p.m. and the Clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and
improvements as required by law.
ADOPTED this 20 day of November, 2001.
