Statutory cities are required annually to appoint the City's official weed inspector. Mayors of statutory cities are
appointed to this position. Staff recommends that Maintenance Worker Mark Joosten, staff forester, be
appointed as the Mayor's designee, or Assistant Weed Inspector.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Motion to appoint Mayor Cathy Busho as Weed Inspector and Maintenance Worker Mark Joosten as
Assistant Weed Inspector for the year 2001.
COUNCIL ACTION:
