Centex Homes has requested the vacation of a portion of the drainage and utility easement for
Lot 15, Block 1 Bloomfield Addition. This lot has the majority of the backyard contained within
easement that was originally intended for ponding. This pond was not incorporated into the
final grading plan, but the easement was still provided. Due to a modified house elevation,
some grading revisions are necessary and will be completed prior to the hearing. A copy of the
lot will be provided prior to the public hearing.
Staff is recommending setting the public hearing for August 7, 2001 at 7:30 p.m.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: MOTION TO ADOPT A RESOLUTION SETTING A PUBLIC FOR
AN EASEMENT VACATION FOR LOT 15, BLOCK 1 BLOOMFIELD ADDITION.

RESOLUTION 2001 -
A RESOLUTION SETTING THE PUBLIC HEARING FOR
AN EASEMENT VACATION FOR LOT 15, BLOCK 1
BLOOMFIELD ADDITION
WHEREAS, an easement vacation is required on Lot 15, Block 1 Bloomfield Addition.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF ROSEMOUNT,
MINNESOTA:
1. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed easement vacation on the 7 th day
of August, 2001, in the Banquet Room of the Rosemount Community Center at
7:30 p.m. and the Clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and
improvements as required by law.
ADOPTED this 19th day of July, 2001.
