At the March 24, 2001 Special Council Meeting City Council interviewed 12 candidates for Parks &
Recreation Committee, Planning Commission and the Public Utilities Commission. Upon the
completion of the interviews a majority of Council identified candidates to serve on the commissions
and committees as follows:
Parks & Recreation Committee:
Newly appointed: Mike Eliason and Mark Jacobs.
Kelly Sampo, Chair for 2001 -2
Planning Commission:
Newly appointed: Jeff Arveson, Jana Carr - Weerts, Jeff Caspar
Jeff Caspar, Chair for 2001 -2
Utilities Commission:
Newly appointed: Donald Berg
Shawn Mulhern, Chair for 2001 -2
RECOMMENDED ACTION: Motion to appoint the following to City of Rosemount
commissions from April 3, 2001 to March 31, 2002: Parks & Recreation Committee: Mike
Eliason and Mark Jacobs, Kelly Sampo, Chair; Planning Commission: Jeff Arveson, Jana
Carr - Weerts, and Jeff Caspar, Chair; Utilities Commission: Donald Berg and Shawn
Mulhern, Chair.
