publicly.
The tabulation of bidders, resolution and letter of award recommendation will be provided at the
Council meeting.
The Engineer's Estimate is $680,000.00.

RESOLUTION 2001—
A RESOLUTION RECEIVING BIDS AND AWARDING CONTRACT
FOR CSAH 42 STREET AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS
(DIAMOND PATH TO SHANNON PARKWAY)
CITY PROJECT #327
BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Rosemount, Minnesota, as follows:
1. All bids on construction of the CSAH 42 Street and Utility Improvements (Diamond Path
to Shannon Parkway) are hereby received and tabulated.
2. The bid o ., in the amount of r the construction of
said impr s are in accordance with the plans an specifications and advertisement
for bids is the lowest responsible bid and shall be and hereby is accepted.
3. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with said
bidder for the construction of said improvements for and on behalf of the City of
Rosemount:
4. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the
deposits made with their bids, except that the deposit of all successful bidder and the next
two lowest bidders shall be retained until a contract has been executed.

SUBJECT: Bid Opening Report
The Bid Opening for City Project 327 was held on Friday, August 31, 2001, at 10 a.m.
There were four contractors bidding. Dave Hutton from WSB, Mark Fremder from city
engineering, and myself were present. The apparent low bidder was McNamara Contracting,
Inc. in the amount of $718,575.25. Dave Hutton will review the totals to verify McNamara's bid
and report back to City Council at the September 0' City Council meeting.
