For City Council consideration is Administration's recommendation to approve compensation adjustments to
the following positions:

1. Water Resources Coordinator $38,824 $40,893 $42,961 $45,030 $47,098 $49,167
2. Senior Engineering Tech $38,824 $40,893 $42,961 $45,030 $47,098 $49,167
3. Building Inspector $36,749 $39,069 $41,389 $43,708 $46,028 $48,348
Compensation increases for these positions were pulled from the September 5, 2000 Council agenda due to the
desire of the membership of AFSCME to review the proposed increases. The union has since had time to
discuss the proposed compensation increases and Administration is now recommending the compensation
adjustments for the above positions to Council.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: MOTION TO APPROVE THE ABOVE SALARY RANGES EFFECTIVE
OCTOBER 1, 2000.
