In the attached letter, he indicates that the site alongside the Knowlan's building is unworkable for a number of reasons. Staff has assembled three options. Sites 1 & 2 were presented at the work session on Wednesday evening, Feb. 9 "'. The third is a result of Council discussion from the work session. Site "1" Located on the eastern "bank" of double - loaded parking spaces. Essentially the same arrangement as last year, but moved ninety feet to the east. Site "2" Located along the eastern and outer edge of the parking lot, across from Pizza Hut. Site "Y' Located along the eastern edge of the parking lot, but directly across from Site ccl» Staff's preference is still Site 1. This is because the arrangement has no impact on the parking circulation pattern as defined by the striping of the parking lot. As well, there is available parking on all sides of the flower mart. Staff understands that Pete Linder will agree with any of the three options, or variations of the three. RECOMMENDED ACTION: Approve the renewal of the Linder's Flower Mart for 2000 specifying one of the three presented options.
