For City Council information, in attendance tonight are three new city employees:
1. Paula Graff, Human Resources/Communication Coordinator started work on April 17, 2000. Paula comes
to Rosemount from Tri-Valley Opportunity Council, a private, community action agency located in
Crookston, MN where she was their Human Resources Officer. Previous to her work at Tri-Valley she
worked for the City of St. Louis Park in Administration. Paula holds a MA in Public Administration from
Hamline University and a BA in Economics from the University of Minnesota.
2. Jim Parsons, Community Development Director started work on May 8, 2000. Jim comes to Rosemount
from the City of Hopkins, where he was the Assistant to the City Manager. Previous to his work in
Hopkins, Jim worked for the City of Jordan as their Economic Development Director. Jim possesses a BA
in Economics from Carleton College and is currently pursuing his MA in Public Administration from
Hamline University.
3. Dan Fick, Public Works Director/City Engineer started work on May 15, 2000. Dan comes to Rosemount
from the City of Austin where he was the Assistant City Engineer. Previous to his work in Austin,he was a
project engineer for SRF Consulting Group in Plymouth. Dan holds a BS in Civil Engineering from the
University of Minnesota and is currently pursuing a BS in Business Administration from Southwest State
University.
We welcome these new employees and look forward to their respective careers with the City of Rosemount.
