This item is for Council consideration to not allow parking on either side of several streets
adjacent to the Rosemount Business Park, Phase 2 Street and Utility Improvements, City Project
3308. The streets in question include Biscayne Avenue from CSAH 42 to 160th Street West,
Boulder Trail and Boulder Avenue. A location map of the proposed no parking area is attached.
Due to the nature of the adjacent properties, o-street parking is not needed in this area and
future traffic is expected to make on-street parking undesirable from a safety standpoint.
Therefore, Staff is recommending the adoption of a resolution, which would not allow parking
on either side of these streets.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: MOTION TO ADOPT A RESOLUTION DIRECTING PLACEMENT
OF NO PARKING SIGNS ALONG BOTH SIDES OF BISCAYNE AVENUE FROM CSAH 42 TO
160T" STREET WEST AND ALSO ON BOTH SIDES OF BOULDER TRAIL AND BOULDER
AVENUE.
